eBay set out to reimagine the future of luxury resale through a high-end pop-up experience in the heart of New York City’s Diamond District. Designed to merge commerce, creativity, and culture, the activation invited guests to shop, trade, and discover authenticated luxury goods from the world’s most coveted brands, all within a curated, gallery-style environment.
Guests could browse and purchase designer items or trade their own pieces as payment, blending the thrill of the hunt with the sophistication of luxury retail. The experience celebrated eBay’s trusted authentication process while creating moments of social sharing and personal connection to the brand.
Highlights Included:
• Photography Studio – A content-forward moment where guests could photograph and showcase their luxury items for social sharing.
• Curated Designer Selection – Featured brands included Gucci, YSL, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and more.
• Interactive Commerce Experience – Guests could buy or trade in real time, bringing eBay’s marketplace to life in an IRL setting.
• Elevated Design & Ambience – The pop-up embodied luxury through modern design, lighting, and tactile materials that reflected eBay Luxe’s brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-Producer: Led event production and day-of execution from concept through completion.
• Creative Direction: Oversaw visual merchandising, layout, and experiential flow to ensure a seamless luxury experience.
• On-Site Operations Lead: Managed guest flow, staffing, and vendor coordination for a polished, high-touch environment.
• Content & Engagement Strategy: Partnered with photography and social teams to optimize shareable content moments and drive social amplification.
